Elevate your board value with personalized coaching services
Donna Price
I believe every board deserves to benefit from the skills and talents of women. Applying my governance skills and expertise to serve women who aspire to serve on a corporate board achieves my core aspiration – to empower and elevate women to the best version of themselves and increase representation on corporate boards.
Working alongside some of the brightest legal and business minds in the country, I supported, and often steered, the architecting of processes that fulfilled business decisions within a corporate governance matrix.
Over 20 years of Law Clerk practice provided intellectually fertile training ground for what came next. Determined to fulfill my curiosity about the work and value of corporate boards, I made a fortuitous career pivot into the world of corporate governance. It was a fitting and fulfilling career for the next 20 years at a time when corporate governance was emerging from the shadows.

As a governance professional, I worked with private and public companies in the Technology sector. My work covered all facets of public company compliance (both domestic and cross-border), the interplay of management, the board and shareholders, proxy solicitations, acquisition actions and governance practices. I provided strategic support on private and public financing transactions in addition to working with the legal counsel, boards and management of non-profit and charity organizations.
Forsaking my own playing time, I began coaching young girls and later university aged women in competitive sport. Over several years, I engaged with sport peers, sport body representatives, coaches, parents, and most frequently with the young athletes in my care. I founded and played on women’s masters’ teams and participated in international masters sporting events. Coaching girls and women in sport provided insights, leadership lessons and in-the-lab-of-life experiences beyond anything I could ever ask for.
In both sport and business, as in life, I learned that difficulties inspire new action and defeats provide new wisdom and calls to action.
Boards and directors must continually climb decision-ladders of opportunity and possibility. It is fascinating and important work and I hope that more corporations become stimulated and motivated to target the vastly talented pool of women to serve on their boards.
It is my greatest honour and pleasure to support women one-to-one in making the most of life achievements and confidently advancing their aspirations and talent to serve on a board of directors.
